I know I have set a lofty goal to get you to love coming to the dentist. And you may agree it would take enough magic as Harry Potter is able to weild. Well, how about we start with something so easy and painless you won’t believe you are at the dentist? Do you suffer from cold sores or canker sores? These little suckers are extremely painful and in the case of canker sores, not that attractive! And they always seem to show up just in time for an important day where the last thing you need is some ugly growth on your face yelling “Look at me! Look at me!” Well, this is where the magic comes in. The use of a dental laser can prevent the cold sores or canker sores from forming if we treat them the day you start to feel the – oh so familiar – tingle. The laser looks like a small “wand” and all we have to do is wave it over the affected area for a very brief period of time and “poof” – no more sore.
